Hello Drama students, please find a sample of a Playbill. This is a detailed version so don’t get too worried about the content of this sample. For your playbill, you need to make sure you have the following listed:
- cast of characters (in order of appearance), writer/s of the screenplay and a mini-bio
- plot summary/synopsis
- director/producer/creator’s notes
- at least 3 production photos
Drama students! Here’s the calendar for both classes. We only have a month of classes before exams! EXCITING!!!!
I’ve also included your Self/Peer Evaluation Sheet on this post. This is due the day after your class’ screenplay deadline.
Here are the links to the pieces we are working on.

Grade 9s, a reminder to hand in your Famous People Facebook print outs on Tuesday, April 9.
Just a reminder music night at Windfields is on May 2 at 7pm in the Cafeteria. Music night will be for Grades 7 to Grade 9. The Junior Music Night scheduled in June has been moved.
As discussed back in September, Music Night performance is mandatory for the Grade 9 class. You were given a letter back in September informing your parents/guardians to save the date for our annual music night.
Grade 7 and Grade 8 participation in Music Night is voluntary.
Grade 7:
If you wish to participate in music night, there will be an audition sign-up sheet posted on the door of Room 107. You will need to prepare “Hot Cross Buns” and “Twinkle, Twinkle Little Star” for the one-on-one audition that will start next week.
Grade 8:
During your upcoming test, please let me know your intension to participate in Music Night. Your test will serve as your audition. I will listen for your preparedness in both pieces (Samba La Bamba & Beethoven Lullaby). Final list of participants will be posted as soon as we finish auditions.
If you have questions or need extra help, please let me know. Some of you have taken advantage of the peer music tutors we have at school.
Good luck!!!!
